He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Patricia Rabe, Lisa Kirby, Cindy Lutes of Washington and David of Victoria; and his grandchildren, David S. Lutes, Sonya Kirby, Jessica Kisner of Washington and Patricia Lutes Tucker of Victoria. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Sarasota Humane Society may be sent in his name.
