He was predeceased by: his parents, David B. Allen and Harriet S. Allen; his brother Charles Forney; and his stepson Robert J. Halverson II. He is survived by: his wife Paula J. Allen; his sisters, Catherine Fox and Susan G. Wrobleski; his children, Charles Allen, Samantha Lynn Allen and David W. Allen II; his stepchildren, Christi-Ann Halverson and Richard Halverson; his grandchildren, Summer Morgan Duchesne and Jayden Wade Smith; and his great grandchild Alina Duchesne. He is also survived by 1 niece and 4 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to please donate to your local food bank as David loved celebrating the holidays and sharing with those in need.
