It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Carlin Bottorff Jr. in Sarasota, Florida, born in Clarksville, Indiana, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Carlin Sr. and Edith Bottorff (Mayfield); and his sister Shirley Williams. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his son Steven (Carol) of Irmo; his grandson Bruce of Palmetto, Florida.; his sister Earleen Nutting; and his grandchildren, Tess, Ty and Alton. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
