It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edgar Shuman in Sarasota, Florida, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 15, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Shuman and Ray Shuman (Shor); his brother Herbert; his former wife Jean Shuman (Rosecrans); and his cousin Reuben (Barbara).
He is survived by: his wife Betty Shuman (Kalb); his son Eric (Whitney) of Poplarville, MS; his stepchildren, David Weiner (Joan McLaughlin), Karen Weiner (Jonas Goldenberg) and Gail Korval (Arnie); and his nephew Neil.
Ed married Betty in [1987], and they split their time between homes in Pittsburgh and Long Boat Key, Florida and enjoying traveling before opting to ride out the pandemic in Florida.
