He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Swihart and Eva Marie Swihart; his siblings, Dick (Rosemary Swihart), Harold (Bernice Swihart), Dale (Phyllis Swihart), Phil (Rose Swihart) and Helen (Elson Raser); and his daughter-in-law Loretta Meixner.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Swihart (Candy), Pam Mereness, Pat Swihart (Rhonda) and Peggy Wellman (Jack). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren.
