He is survived by: his siblings, Wilma Schlabach (Harley) of Topeka, Polly Graber (Glen) of Millersburg, Marietta Schlabach (Lloyd) of Ligonier, Fritz Helmuth (Tina) of Topeka, Richard Helmuth (Sara) of Shipshewana, Ernest Helmuth (Mary) of Millersburg and Dennis Helmuth (Niva) of Topeka; and his sister-in-law Martha Schlabach (Nelson) of Topeka.
