She was predeceased by: her husband Dimitri Syros; her son Nick Syros; and her parents, Nick Stakis and Katherine Stakis. She is survived by: her son Paul Syros of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew of North Carolina, Dimitri, Alina and Julianna of Sarasota, Florida..
