She is survived by: her husband John; her son John A. DeWitt III (Brenda); her grandsons, Connor, Ryan and Christian; and her siblings, Robert Brady, Terry Lloyd (Terry), Peggy Hunt (Robert), Judy Charest and Mary Garland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Wildlife Federation.
