Rosa Ortiz Medina Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Rosa Ortiz Medina of Cape Coral, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cruz Rivera and Matilde Rosario; her husband Juan Ortiz-Medina; her son Juan A. Ortiz-Rivera (Albert); her daughter-in-law Lisa Marie Ortiz-Rivera; and her grandchildren, Blazer, Leyna, Aspen and Leo.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Rosa's honor to benefit her beloved church community.
