She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Marie Pinkston and Ernest Pinkston; her husband Milton Robinson of New York; her daughter Valerie Robinson; her sons-in-law, Carlton Johnson and Deon Williams M. D; her grandchildren, Christopher, Alexander, Samantha and Andrew; her sisters, Marie Jackson and Ernestine Campbell; and her brother-in-law Randolph Jackson.

She died on October 18, 2021, following a twelve-year battle with Parkinson Disease.
