He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Kral Knauss; his parents, Dorothy Pond and Edwin Speer Knauss; and his sister Jane Knauss Stevens (Robert Croll Stevens). He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn L. Knauss-Rosenblum (Carl Rosenblum) and Elizabeth P. Knauss (Ray Wong); his granddaughters, Lauren Rosenblum, Lindsay Rosenblum, Allison Wong and Jenna Wong; his sibling's children, Nancy D. Stevens (David Williams), Jane A. Stevens (Gordon Barnhart), Ann H. Stevens (William Shattuck) and William C. Stevens (Judith); and also, Robert Pond, Barbara Sligar, Betty Pond and Robert Martin (Sarah). He is also survived by 9 grand nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
