He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Anna and George; and his granddaughter Courtney. He is survived by: his children, Susan Hendrick (Tom) of Inverness, William Thomas Harrison, III (Cathi) of Tampa and Robert Harrison (Nancy) of Nokomis; his grandchildren, Katie Vincent (Bill), Charlie Hendrick (Mia), Cameron Harrison, Christie Harrison, Benjamin Harrison and Caroline Harrison; his great grandchild James Vincent; and his close friend Sharon Black Floyd. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren.

Donations in his honor may be made to Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, Inc.
