He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Swartout and Dorothy Marie Swartout; his wife Patricia; his daughters, Pachette and Dawn; and his sister Virginia Dorothy Helen Allen.
He is survived by: his son John Swartout; his daughter-in-law Mary Alice; his siblings, Betty Joe Swartout and Howard Elwood Swartout; his grandchildren, Chayne Turrano, Alisyn Busico, Kaden Alexander, Jodilee Ramos and James Falkinburg; and his caregiver Mary Green. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Strunk Funeral Home - Sebastian (1623 N Central Ave, Sebastian, FL 32958). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
