She was predeceased by : her parents, Benjamin E. Chester and Mamie A. Edwards Chester; her husband Marvin Locke; her son Jerry Locke; and her children-in-law, Bobbie Jean Locke and John Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Dale E. Locke (Judy) of Tallahassee, Curtis W. Locke (Pam) of Chattahoochee and Carolyn Faye Smith of Woodstock, GA; her grandchildren, Chad Locke (Angie), Stacie Arnold (Luke), Justin Locke (Jessica), Ryan Locke, Melissa Corson (Jeff), Melanie Coats, Christy Phillips, Travis Locke, Lisa Naliwajki (Kerry), Laura Ventura and Chris Hall (Aaron); and her close friend Marinda Wilson. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
