She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Cottrell and Hugh Stringer; her former husband Bruce Frantz; her husband Raoul Merritt; and her siblings, Lyell (Dorothy), Kate Drouillard (Ed), Helen Collins (Joe), Milton (Thelma), Nelson (Betty) and Hugh (Janet).
She is survived by: her children, Carol Bindescheattel, Bruce Frantz (Nancy) and Brian Frantz (Nancy); her brother Bill Stringer; her grandchildren, Lee, Brianne, Mike Bindescheattel, Bruce (Kelly) and Chris Frantz; and her stepgrandchildren, Robin Elliott (Brian) and Eric Stevens (Shane). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
