She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Friederich Sasse (Fred) and Anna Sickmann Sasse; her husband Frank; her children, Carl Schaffer (Jacki Lynn) of Paradise Valley, Alan (Tauni Schaffer), Gary (Traci Schaffer) and Gale Ryan of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania.; and her grandchildren, Randall, Magen, Jonathan Schaffer, Tara, Kristen, Jocelyn and Daniel Ryan.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Spring Hill Stroke Support Club c/o Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
