She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Ellen and Joseph Heaslip; her children, Diane P. Castiglia and Dr. Charles R. Singler (Barbara); her grandchildren, Teri Thomas (Andy), Craig Castiglia (Julie), Chip Singler (Sarah), Scott Castiglia (Elizabeth), Kevin Castiglia (Noelle) and Jeff Singler (Carrie); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Rabekah, Derek, Dylan Thomas, Ryan, Braden, Carly Castiglia, Chaz, Isadora, Isaac Singler, Nicholas, William Castiglia, Grady, Griffin, Anna Kate, Carter Castiglia, Anne and Sonia Singler; her husband Charles Singler; and her siblings, Helen Mutz and Richard Heaslip.

Catherine survived the Spanish Flu pandemic in 1918, lived through two World Wars and a Depression.
