It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald George Herbig (Spring Hill, Florida), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 3, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Herbig and Estelle Herbig; and his brother Jack Herbig. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Pamela Czlonka (Robert), Zachary Herbig (Nancy), Melissa Crane (Len), Amy Williams (Tyrone), Lynne Houlihan (John), Randall Brooks, Beth Brooks Armstrong, Kent Brooks (Sue), John Brooks (Susie Brown) and Andrew Brooks (Marcia); and his sister-in-law Edna Herbig. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Theresa Catholic Church, Spring Hill (Florida) or Grand Rapids (Michigan) Police Honor Guard.
