He is survived by: his wife Pamela Mesa of Spring Hill; his stepdaughter Rachel Fernandez (Tommy) of Hudson; his grandchildren, Kristin, Alexander and Lindsay; his brother-in-law Alan Houck (Monique); his niece Micaela Houck; his close friend Jon Whitten; his siblings, Ralph Mesa (Janet) of Pembroke Pines, Frank Mesa of Pembroke Pines and Gretna Berger (Kevin) of Atlanta; and also Linford Houck. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
