He is survived by: his wife Penny of Spring Hill; his children, Catherine Anne Saarts (Karl) of Spring Hill, Douglas William Simpson (Alexis) of California and Ronald Earl Simpson (Desiree Dumas) of California; his brother Jack Simpson (Nancy) of California; and his grandchildren, Cynthia and Erik Saarts of Spring Hill.
