It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anson J. Buttles D. (Stuart, Florida), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anson Buttles and Jean Buttles; his brother Tom; and his stepgrandson Jack Holzmacher. He is survived by: his spouse Shirle Ann Shrieber; his children, Jeanie Holzmacher (George), Elizabeth Buttles (Betsy) and Joel Buttles; his granddaughters, Kayla Flores De (Danny), Taylor Townsend and Emma Oliver (Sam); his stepgrandsons, Austin and Nathan Holzmacher; his great grandchildren, Elijah and Isaac Flores De Valgaz; his sisters-in-law, Leslie Buttles and Jean Markiewicz (Wendell); his nephews, Jon Buttles (Lindsey), Mark Buttles (Heidi), Joe Markiewicz, DC (Betty) and John Markiewicz (Pam); and his cousin Ginny Ross (Wayne).
A Celebration of Life was to be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 6:00pm at Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church, however due to the limited gathering of the number of people due to the new strain of Covid-19, the Service has been postponed and a new time and date will be announced in the future.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church where a memorial will be placed in Jim's memory. When making donations for this memorial, please include Jim's name in the memo of your check and mail it to Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church, 2880 SE Aster Lane, Stuart, Florida 34994.
