She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Seaborn Thompson and Pauline Omeata Cartledge; her former spouse Mac M. Jordan; her husband Buddy Burton; her children, Sandra Evans Leland, Susan Smith (Louis), Carla Salas, Angel Evans, Rick Evans (Natalie) and Randy Evans (Annette); and her sons-in-law, John Carlsen, Kenny Leland, Walter Ratty and Johnny Salas. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
