He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Howe and Ruth Howe (Jenks); and his siblings, Robert Charles Howe, Katherine Louisa Sims (Howe) and William Richard Howe.

He is survived by: his wife Jessica Walker of Northfield, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by his four children, his nine grandchildren, and his 23 great-grandchildren.
