He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Henry (Emily); his son Jack Jr. (Deborah); his parents, Henri Andre and Bluette Andre; his wife Mary Louise Helsley; and his stepdaughters, Karen and Linda. He was also cherished by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Probably the hardest blow of his life came in February of 2021, when he returned home from a three week stay in the hospital, after surviving Covid-19, and discovered that he could no longer do it all on his own.
