He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, David Friedman (Melissa), Karen Biggs (Arthur) and Amy Friedman; his grandchildren, Amanda Biggs, Michael Biggs, Rachel Friedman and Chad Fried Friedman; and his sister Joyce Smith.
