He was predeceased by: his parents, Ursula Turynowicz (Wasilewska) and Boleslaw Turynowicz; and his siblings, Helen Cuneo, Sophie Novicki, Jennie Balukewitch, Mary Bublis, Ann Tuminski, Leon Turynowicz and Frances Regan.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Turynowicz (Cadigan); his children, Steven Turynowicz (Peggy) and Nancy Kormann (David); his grandchildren, Matthew Kormann (Danielle) and Emily Kormann Astaldi (Gherardo); and his great grandchild Maliyah Kormann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
