She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, James Rush and Ruth Bishop Rush; her children, Mary Ruth Chapman, Robert Thomas Chapman, Ronald Anthony Chapman, Eileen Theresa Freedman, Kathy Coleman and Charles Chapman (Joey); her husband Robert Lee Thomas; and her daughter-in-law Melody Chapman. She was also cherished by children, many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Aycock Funeral Home (950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957). A reception was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
