He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vernon and Viola Steib. He is survived by: his children, Kristin Vernon Helvig, Michael James Vernon, Tracy Vernon-Platt and Rebecca Operacz; his grandchildren, Caleb, Kyra Helvig, Fletcher and Elizabeth Platt; and his pet Lucy.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mark's the Evangelist Church (7081 SE Hwy 42, Summerfield, FL 34491).
