Though Joe Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joe Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Jones and Dora Mae Jones; his brother James Jones; and his wife Jacquelyn Faye Hornaday. He is survived by: his son Jerome Keith Jones; his daughter-in-law Cyndie Ciper Jones; his grandsons, Pepper Anthony Jones (Lindy Patterson Jones) and Jesse Lee Jones; and his former wife Jacqueline Gayle Christiansen. He is also survived by four stepsons and 17 additional grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lone Oak Baptist Church (3505 Lone Oak Rd, Plant City, FL 33567).
