He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mooney and Julia Mooney (Cligott); and his siblings, Bill Mooney and Mary Sutherby (Mooney). He is survived by: his wife Thomasina Mooney (Toole); his children, Stephen Mooney (Pam) and Eileen Poitras (David); and his grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Poitras. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
