John Thomas Strickland Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Strickland Sr. in Suwannee, Florida, born in Stanford, Kentucky, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Henry and Abbie Christine Strickland (Chadwell); and his sister Jeanie Ginter. He is survived by : his wife Virginia "Jenny" Strickland (Davis) of Starke; his children, Christy Strickland of Starke, Cindy Carlton of Starke, Wendy Barnes (David) of Starke and John Strickland, Jr. (Missy) of Highland; his brothers, James Strickland (Harriett) of Colorado, David Strickland (Terri) of North Carolina, Don Strickland of Bradenton and Phillip Strickland (Barbara) of Florida; his grandchildren, Courtney Martin (Johnny), David Barnes, Shelby Parmenter (Shane), Kaylyn Clemons (Dillan), Taylor Pickett (Jake), Makayla Carlton, McKenzie Beck, Braden Strickland and Arielle Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Trace Martin, Tucker Martin, Hunter Clemons and Tinley Parmenter.
