With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby F. McKown in Tallahassee, Florida, born in Doerun, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Delma Belk McKown and Harry Virgil McKown; and his brother Virgil McKown. He is survived by: his wife Yvette Dixon McKown; his daughter Mia Loraine McKown; and his granddaughter Ava Loraine McKown.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bobby F. McKown endowed fund at the at the University of Florida, which was established in his honor at his retirement.
