She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert C. Copeland and Berniece E. Copeland (Thorsheim); and her brother Gerald. She is survived by: her husband Gary Joseph KeKelis; her sons, Gary Jr. (Keli) and Cole (Jennifer); her granddaughter Rebecca; her brother Michael (Shelley); and her sisters-in-law, Maureen and Carolyn Coatoam. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, their spouses and children.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran Bible Translators.
