He was predeceased by: his parents, George Simmons, Sr. and May Ruth Freeman Simmons; and his wife Nancy Ellen Cochrane. He is survived by: his children, Dale Ellen Ulrich (David Ulrich), Caryn Laurel Alfsen (Greg Alfsen), Keith Eugene Simmons (Stephanie Simmons), Scott Bradley Simmons (Charlotte Simmons) and Sandra Kay Papka (John Papka). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
