With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Nelson of Tallahassee, Florida, born in Whigham, Georgia, who passed away on February 21, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie A. Harrison and Lillie Mae Johnson Harrison; her siblings, Joel Harrison, Wendell O. Harrison, Aaron B. Harrison, Alma O. Browning and Sara F. Bookout; and her granddaughter Melanie C. Mills.
She is survived by : her children, Wanda Metcalf Mills, Dennis Metcalf, Teresa Nelson Martin (Ronnie), Roger Nelson and Stacie Nelson Landrum (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Jay Mills, Stephanie Oliger, Heather Tam, Ryan Mills, Crystal Birdsong, Erica Nelson, LaRee Nelson, Tyler Nelson, Paige Hindle and Cory Landrum. She is also survived by children.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana, Florida.
