It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Herold Yates of Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Herold and Rudolph Herold (Rentsch); and her husband Charles Robert Yates Sr. (Bob). She is survived by: her brothers, Rudolph, Elwin, Emmett, Leslie, Dewey and Bill; her children, Lynn Yates Colvard (David) of Raleigh, NC and Chuck Yates of Mint Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Daniel Colvard, Stacy Colvard Hountras, Ben Yates and Kimberly Yates; her great grandchildren, Lewis and Maris Colvard; and also, America Russell, Marie Pilcher, Daisy Parks, Ruby Hutson and Emily Rawls.
