It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madelon Elliott Sweat of Tallahassee, Florida, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Logan Elliott and Joseph Evans Elliott; her husband Bob Sweat; and her brother Joe Elliott. She is survived by: her children, Jim (Caryn), Linda Elliot (Jared) and Brandon (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Lauren Shoemaker (Brian), Connor Sweat (Megan), Logan Elliot (Taylor), Tanner Elliot (Caroline), Carter Sweat and Christian Sweat; her great grandchildren, Elliott Shoemaker, Oliver Shoemaker and Jack Sweat; and her sister Elaine Geiger (Claude).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church or the Le Moyne Art Center in her name.
