She was predeceased by: her husband Case Bodiford; her mother Patricia Elliott Thornsberry; and her father-in-law Judge Larry Bodiford. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Bodiford; her father Sonny Thornsberry; her mother-in-law Libby Bodiford; and her brother Keith Thornsberry (Christina Nall). She is also survived by many cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Samantha's honor by purchasing a children's book from the Wishlist created on Amazon or from local Tallahassee bookstore, Midtown Reader, to be gifted to Ruediger Elementary School in her memory.
