He is survived by: his daughter Beverly Hayes Higgins; his son-in-law Jim Higgins of Tallahassee, Florida; his granddaughter Hannah Elizabeth Swee; and his sibling's children, Mary Lee Shepperd, Brenda Hayes Griffin, Sidney Hayes, Paula Lamon, Jill Hayes, David Hayes, Darlene Pearman Day and Danny Pearman.
