With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bishop Franklin Isaiah Huddleston (Tampa, Florida), born in Lorain, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Huddleston and Nioven Vella Huddleston; his siblings, Shirley Knight, Vella Sims, Calvin Huddleston and Leslie Huddleston; and his son Bryan Huddleston.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Huddleston; his children, Alan Huddleston, Kenneth Sinclair (Alicia), Carmen Townsen (Clifford), Wanda King (Aisha), Melissa King, Iris Montgomery, Victoria Huddleston, Tyjiri King, Kzuonne Woody and Cherie Lewis Warren (William); and his grandchildren, Feliece Wallace (Brandon), Shaquita Warren-Huddleston, Naquita Warren-Huddleston, Ladonnaca, Lionell, Antonio, Patrick, Salron, Kenneth, Jr., Keonte', Keysean and Charles. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aikens Funeral Home (2708 E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33610). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
