She was predeceased by: her husband Brian Oden. She is survived by: her former husband C. David Popovics; her children, Melissa Reimert (Curt) and Michael Popovics (Nichole); and her grandchildren, Jenna, Cameran, Ashlyn, Riley, Aubrey and Chloe.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the USF Botanical Gardens Foundation in her honor.
