She was predeceased by: her father Carl Joyner; her brother Bryan LeCount; and her daughter Timmecia Smith. She is survived by: her mother Jessie Mae Parker (James); her husband Dempsey Wingo; her children, Jessica Simpson (Charles), Jasmine Jackson and Anthony Mormon, II (Irena); her grandchildren, Janai'Carnegie, Tommy Simpson and Micah Smith; her siblings, Howard Joyner (Berlin), TeRodney Russell (Valencia), Cludner LeCount, Tonya Lavendar, Timee Denson (Oren) and LaQueta LeCount; her close friend Hope Lee (Emmett); and her goddaughters, Dominique Green and Claricia Maxwell (Rajah). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
