She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Williams and Odessa Williams Sr.; her siblings, Linda Williams, Marva Ables, Valerie Patterson, Genora Gilmore, Clara Williams and Frank Williams; and her stepdaughter Carole Thompson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Carole, Nicola and Peaches; her husband Alvin Thompson; her children, Lynette Jackson, Adrienne Williams (Christian), Peaches Thompson, Retrievia Quaqua (Eastman) and Nicola Blake (Chesley); her siblings, Letitia Bowers (Samuel), Nellie Williams, Cary Williams, Antoinette Greene, Alex Williams, Althea Gonzalez (Waldemar) and Christopher Williams; and her close friends, Ben Cooper and Gwendolyn Graham. She is also survived by 14 children, with 9 sisters and 4 brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
