He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Nesbit and Lois "Zippy" Nesbit; his son Michael Nesbit; his brother-in-law Jerry Hillyard; and his nephew Cory Hillyard.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Nesbit; his children, Cathey Larsen (Greg), Laura Briddle (Robert) and D. J. Leach (Stephanie); his siblings, Sharon Hillyard, Richard Nesbit and Patty Agne; his nephew Cody Hillyard (Tonya Bauer); his grandchildren, Kirby Whitworth Jr., Carrigan Whitworth, Cynthia Holten-Curl (Brandon), Amber Holten, Elle Leach and Charlize Leach; and his children, Penny Nesbit, Peggy Nesbit, Pamela Nesbit, Attn, Rocky Point and Tampa.
