He was predeceased by: his parents, Truman Duvall Beckett and Edna Catherine DeBolt. He is survived by: his wife Linda Zeiler Beckett; his children, Michael Edward Beckett and Jennifer Ann Beckett; his grandchildren, Michael Joseph Beckett, Matthew William Beckett, Avery Connerty and Harrison Christopher Connerty; and his sister Sarah Jane Beckett Brown.
