She was predeceased by: her parents, Mertel Linton and Selvin Oates; and her sister Esmeralda Bryson. She is survived by: her husband Donnie Flowers; her children, Monique Oates JP, Andre McDonald, Josi-Ann Coleman, Jodi-Ann Coleman-Smith, Vinroy Coleman Jr. and Venika Coleman; her grandchildren, Shenese King, Peter-Shah Campbell, Zaharah Oates-Reid, Rojay Smith, Antonio Anderson, Alex-Andre McDonald, Joanna Smith and Jahmir McGhie; and her siblings, Lurline Fagan, Audrey Oates-Cameron, Yolanda Brown, Selbourne Oates, Basil Oates, Bertram Oates, Jennylyn Oates and Alvin Paul.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodland Open Bible Church.
