It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Charles Griffin in Tampa, Florida, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Griffin and Eleanore Griffin (Harms); and his sisters, Ann Fitzgerald (Griffin) and Kathleen Griffin. He is survived by : his wife Mary Griffin (Collins); his children, James Griffin Jr., Francis Griffin, Maria Minor and Christina Trayers; his siblings, Arthur Griffin and Geraldine Griffin Murray; and his grandchildren, Colin Minor, Allegra Minor, Claire Griffin, Jack Trayers and Vivienne Trayers.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blount & Curry Life Event Center (605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33609). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (4518 S Manhattan Ave, Tampa, FL 33611).
