He was predeceased by: his brother David Crippen. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Cox (Ron) and Sandy Cress; his close friend Peggy Sayland; his grandsons, Christopher Cox (Jessica), Scott Cox (Tera) and Nathan Cress (Christina); and his great grandchildren, Austin Cox, Conner Cox, Caleb Long, Jase Cox, Elizabeth Cox, Zoey Cress and Caleb Cress.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Altar Church.
