She was predeceased by: her father Armando Rodriguez. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Ovidio Mendez; her son Ovidio Mendez, Jr.; her sister Dorothy Perez Farmer; her son Edward Mendez (Jessica Weinberger Mendez); her grandchildren, Mia, Bryn, Lucas and Yoli; her son Daniel Mendez (Karyn Zalman Mendez); and her mother Adelaide Rodriguez. She is also survived by many friends and family members.

In lieu of flowers, Yoli's family asks donations be made in her memory to this foundation that was so dear to her heart.
