It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delores Jean (White) Lucas of Tarpon Springs, Florida, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester White and Anna White (Williams); her husband Carl F. Lucas; and her siblings, Thelma Fuller, Gerald White, Mildred Osman, Everett White, Mary Landreth, Melvin White, Ruth White and Ronald White.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Lucas (Elizabeth) of Tarpon Springs, FL; her granddaughter Anne Mitton (Patrick); her great grandchild Lucas Mitton; her sister Una Tish (Doc); and her nephew Jack Hart. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
